Jewellery Care & Warranty
A little care goes a long way. Keep your handmade necklace beautiful, from its freshwater pearls to its carefully selected gemstones.
Caring for your necklace
Your Daisy Kay jewellery is a delicate, handmade piece and should be treated with love and care. While our pieces are designed to withstand occasional contact with water, we recommend keeping your jewellery dry to preserve the natural stones, freshwater pearls and gold detailing.
Please remove your jewellery before swimming, showering or entering the ocean, and avoid direct contact with perfumes, lotions, chemicals and beauty products. When you’re not wearing your piece, store it safely and gently to help keep it beautiful for years to come.
Pearls, gemstones & hardware
- Gently wipe pearls and gemstones with a soft, clean cloth after wearing.
- Avoid abrasive cleaners and ultrasonic cleaning, which can damage delicate pearls and stones.
- Store your necklace separately to avoid scratches or tangling. Do not pull on the necklace or its decorative details.
- Keep 18k gold-filled and 925 sterling silver hardware dry, and treat any 14k gold-plated decorative components with the same gentle care.
6-month workmanship warranty
Every Daisy Kay necklace comes with a 6-month workmanship warranty, commencing from the date your jewellery is delivered. It covers craftsmanship and manufacturing faults in the workmanship of your necklace. This additional warranty does not cover general wear and tear, improper care or accidental damage. It does not replace or limit your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
To make a warranty claim, email Daisy Kay with your order number, a description of the issue and clear photographs.
Australian Consumer Law
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
The warranty exclusions above apply only to the additional workmanship warranty. They do not exclude or restrict your statutory rights.
