Privacy Policy
Daisy Kay Jewels is a small, Australian-owned business (ABN 68 772 695 953). We respect your privacy and handle your personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles.
Information we collect
We only collect personal information we need to sell and deliver your jewellery and look after you afterwards. This may include:
- your name, email address, phone number, and delivery and billing addresses when you place an order;
- details of what you buy and any messages you send us;
- basic technical information your browser shares when you visit, such as device type and pages viewed.
We do not see or store your full card details. Payments are handled securely by our checkout provider.
How we use it
- to process, deliver and support your order, including warranty and returns enquiries;
- to reply when you contact us;
- to run, secure and improve our website.
If we offer email updates in future, we will only send them with your consent, and every email will include a way to unsubscribe.
Shopify and other service providers
Our bag, checkout and order processing are provided by Shopify. When you check out, your information is collected and processed by Shopify on our behalf and is subject to Shopify’s own privacy policy. Shopify may store data outside Australia.
We may also share the information needed to deliver your order with delivery providers. We do not sell your personal information.
Cookies and browser storage
Our website stores the contents of your bag in your browser so it is still there when you return. Shopify’s checkout uses cookies to operate securely. You can clear these at any time in your browser settings.
If we add analytics or advertising tools in future, we will update this policy to describe them.
Keeping your information safe
We take reasonable steps to protect your personal information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access, and only keep it for as long as we need it for the purposes above or as required by law.
Access, correction and complaints
You can ask to see or correct the personal information we hold about you, or raise a privacy concern, by contacting Daisy Kay. We will respond within a reasonable time. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version will always be on this page.
